Silicon dioxide makes Neat® glass exceptionally smooth. In fact, it's much smoother than ordinary glass so water disperses evenly (sheets off), and evaporates quickly, greatly reducing water spotting. Reduce unwanted outside noise by up to 25% less than a standard double pane glass, and up to 50% less than a plastic skylight.

VELUX curb mount skylights are eligible for the VELUX 10-year installation warranty when installed with the appropriate VELUX flashing kit on a sloped roof. They also come with a 20-year glass warranty, 10-year product warranty, and 5-year warranty on shades and controls.

Comes with 20 ft of electrical wire that connects to a standard junction box (not included)

With the integrated rain sensor, the skylight will close automatically at the first sign of inclement weather.
