VELUX Venting Skylight Systems
Bringing fresh air into your home through a venting skylight improves air circulation, ventilation, and air quality. Skylights visually expand a room using natural light from above.
The integrated solar powered shade gives you effortless control over that light. The shade also helps block the sun's heat during the summer and retain your home's heat in the winter, which improves your skylight's energy efficiency up to 45% (varies by model and size.)
Room darkening shade features white double pleated blackout cloth with a honeycomb structure and interior aluminum coating to block even the brightest sunlight.
Wide Variety of Applications
Deck mount skylights will work with a wide variety of roofing materials. They are great for new skylight installations as well as replacing existing skylights.
Eligible for the VELUX 10-year installation warranty when installed with appropriate VELUX flashing kit (sold separately) on a pitched roof between 14-85 degrees using the included underlayment.
EDL step flashing interweaves with low-profile roofing materials (up to 1/2" thickness) like shingles, shakes, and slate.
EDW high-profile flashing is designed to work with tiles (over 3/4" thickness) and is pliable and pleated, which allows it to be formed to roof tiles.
EDM flashing has a sill apron with pliable pleats that form to the ridges on a metal roof.
